Many people assume arthritis comes with aging, but experts say that while joint pain is common in older adults, arthritis is not a normal part of aging. Experts say eating a healthy diet, limiting alcohol, and staying well hydrated are good steps to reduce your risk. If you are overweight, lose weight and if possible avoid diuretics (discuss all medication changes with your doctor).
